DIY party photobooth props | J.M.

In this post, I am sharing three simple ways of making props for the photo booth.

You will need:
cardboard
pencil
scissors
glue
bamboo skewers or pop sticks
+/- things for decoration

#1 - Printed props.
It must be the simplest and fastest way of making accessories for the photo booth.
It is no brainer.
Go online, find the props you like and print them.
Then glue the paper to cardboard (you can upcycle old packagings, boxes).
When I glued mine, I used a glue stick because it dries fast and almost doesn't wrinkle the paper and I covered with glue only the shapes instead whole paper to save some time.
When the glue is dry just cut the shapes out. For smaller details, I used manicure scissors.
Glue (or tape) at the back a bamboo skewer or a pop stick.

And this is how they look like:

#2 - Folded bow.
You will need two rectangles of colored paper or cardboard. The bigger one will be a bow and the smaller one - the middle part of the bow. So choose the size according to that (mine were about 15x10cm and 6x2 cm).
Fold the big rectangle in an accordion fold.
Glue on the small rectangle in the middle, wrapping it around. The joint part should be at the back.
Lastly, glue (or tape) a bamboo skewer or a pop stick to the back of the bow.
Other props you could do similar way to this - a fan, a mustache.

And this is how it looks like:

#3 - A crown.
Of course, this one you could also print out and the move on or take a rectangle piece of colored cardboard (I used yellow, but there are many other, way more fun in craft stores).
Draw crown spikes. I did mine by sight, but it is ok to use a ruler for better precision.
Cut it out.
Decorate it. I used washi tape, beads and glass marbles. Imho, it looks much cooler than a simply printed pattern. I kept my crown pretty simple, but you could go much more extra on yours.
Lastly, glue (or tape) a bamboo skewer or a pop stick to the back of the bow.
This way you can do all your props, either you decorate them or not.

And this is how it looks like:

Have a fun!
