Blue Festive Manicure

Christmas is over but holidays keep going because New Year is coming! That keeps my mind in festive mood. And I don't know why, but every time doing winter holiday manicures, I want to use glitters (am I the only one? :D )

I don't know will I keep it up till New Year or do something else on my nails, but this manicure definitely is pretty and simple for every day and bright enough for partying.

Snowflake Manicure

Doing manicure that would looks best with my outfit for Christmas party, I used dark blue nail polish, and to make it look more festive and wintery, I draw some snowflakes. And this is how it turned out:

Recipe - Last Minute Christmas Pudding

When I lived in UK I got that possibility to try Christmas pudding and I loved it. Now I live in Germany, so I can't get it in store. I got an idea to make it and started looking through recipes, they looked pretty easy but I didn't like the steaming part. I was just about to give up the idea, when I fond recipe where Christmas pudding was cooked in microwave. Later I found that there are a bunch of recipes like that, so I looked through ingredients needed and what I have got at home and made THIS:

Homemade Gingerbread Recipe

I always thought that making gingerbreads is very complicated and long process. Because in old cooking books that had my grandma there were loads of ingredients and steps. But I wanted to make them by myself so I looked up in the  internet for simple gingerbread recipe and found many easy recipes.

Snowy manicure

It is winter, December has started but here in the south of Germany where I live now is no snow and probably won't be. But thinking about Christmas, I always imagine snowy views. So inspiration for this manicure was snow.

And here how it looks like, on one nail (for color pop) I draw a pink lines making pattern like candy swirl..

Marché de Noël de Strasbourg 29.nov.2014 [Photo Diary]

Last Friday in Strasbourg (France) started Christmas Markets that will keep on going until end of December. 

On Saturday I had this opportunity to go there and see it live. Everything is incredibly beautiful and festive.
