Cherry Pie In A Multicooker Recipe | Yummy Blog

Do you have a multicooker in your kitchen (or have you ever heard about it)? Well it is cool and helpful kitchen gadget, which can be used to cook different dishes, that is why it is called multicooker.
This time I am sharing an upside down cherry pie (or cake) recipe, which I baked in my multicooker. It may look a bit burned, but actually it is perfectly fine.  Also if you don't have a multicooker, this pie can be baked in the oven.

Ingredients:
300g cherries (fresh or frozen)
100 g flour (I used - whole grain flour)
3 eggs
30-50g coconut oil (can be used butter)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground vanilla or vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
sugar/sweetener - to taste

Put the coconut oil into the multicooker and melt on the heating mode (if the oil is already liquid, then grease the pot of the multicooker with a small amount of oil).
Beat eggs with a sweetener.
Gradually add flour.
Then add salt, vanilla and baking powder.
Mix well.
Add the melted coconut oil and quickly mix.

Place cherries in a multicooker, spread in an even layer.
Carefully pour on batter and spread evenly.

Bake in the mode - Baking, for about 15-20 minutes. You can check with toothpick.
When the pie is ready, take the pot out of the multicooker and allow to cool down.
Place a plate on the pie and turn over the pot of the multicooker upside down.

Optional - sprinkle with a sweetener or a powder of sugar.

Bon Appetit!
Have A Yummy Day!
