Easy DIY Luminaries | J.M.

In today's blog post, I am sharing three very simple DIY ideas for luminaries. All these DIY luminaries take just a couple of minutes to make. So keep reading and make one or two or maybe all three for yourself.

Tiny candle luminary
you will need

  • tiny glass jar
  • lace
  • ribbon
  • flameless candle
  • hot glue or craft glue

First glue on the lace around the jar's body.
Tie the ribbon around the jar's neck.
Place the flameless candle inside.
[optional] Put on the lid of the jar.

Rose luminary
you will need:

  • glass jar with lid
  • faux rose
  • hot glue or craft glue
  • fairy string lights (mine are about 50cm and I think that is enough)

Glue the rose to the inside of the lid.
Carefully wrap fairy string lights in between the rose petals (if needed - add some glue).
Pull up and bring to the middle all the petals, but don't squeeze.
Put the jar on and twist it.

Balloon luminary
you will need:

  • glass jar with lid
  • colorful bubble ball string lights

Make a bouquet of bubbles, place them so that it would look like a balloon bouquet.
Wrap around a leftover wire to secure them (well, sort of)  or use a string/ribbon.
Carefully place the bouquet inside the jar and make some adjustments if needed.
Close the lid.

I love how they turned out. Each of them has its own vibe like the balloon luminary is fun and colorful, the rose luminary is so feminine and the tiny one is romantic, plus they barely took time.

As always here is the video you may want to check out.
