Today is a Valentine's Day, so on the occasion of that, I made little, sweet treat for me and my Valentine.
Ingredients:
100g softened butter
100g sugar
2
teaspoons vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
2
eggs
100g flour
milk chocolate (if desired)
milk chocolate (if desired)
Directions.
1. Preheat the oven to 170 C (Gas 3).
2. Put
the butter and sugar into a mixing bowl and mix with mixer (or you can do it with fork or whisk but it will takes more time) until light and fluffy.
3. Add the vanilla sugar and the eggs - mix again to make a yellow
batter.
4. Add
the flour and mix until it is smooth.
5. Pour into cupcake cases. Fill each case about 2/3 full. I used small forms, it was enough for 9 cupcakes.
6. Insert a piece of chocolate into center of each, pressing about halfway into batter to cover.
7. Bake
for about 14 minutes. Keep an eye on them. They will be perfect when they
bounce back to the touch and the top still looks slightly sticky. This
will ensure they keep their moisture.
8.Leave
on a cooling rack for 20-30 minutes or until cool, then decorate as you wish or just eat plain.
Buttercream Frosting

Put the topping on the cupcakes.
I also decorated my cupcakes with strawberries.
