In this blog post, I am sharing a DIY tutorial on how to make a dream catcher using a crochet doily. It is super cute DIY room decor idea plus it is super simple to make.
For this DIY you will need:
First of all tightly wrap the hoop with the yarn.
Make a loop of yarn for a hanger. Tie in a knot the end of the yarn to secure.
Place the doily inside the loop and using a yarn tie it to the hoop.
pull the yarn through the loop of the doily and then around the hoop.
Depending on your doily you may need to wrap the yarn around the hoop few times before you pull it through the doily again. Continue to do this until the entire hoop is done.
Make a double knot and try to make it at the back so it would not show up. Optional - put a drop of glue on the knot.
Next, wrap some ribbons around the bottom of the hoop, creating some simple tag knots to hold each one on.
To decorate my dream catcher I glued on pearl beads and small seashells.
