Latvia - home sweet home, it feels so good to be home, but at same time every time I come back after long time I feel like a stranger here. There are so many things I have get used to while lived abroad, so every time I must readjust. But, well, Latvia still is and always will be place I call HOME. 

Evening In Aglona, Latvia | J.M.

Recently we went for a short trip to Aglona and spent all evening walking around. At first we enjoyed a peaceful Velnezers or Certoks (Devil's Lake), then walked around the Basilica of the Assumption of Aglona and at the end visited Christ the King's Mount.

For many people out there city Kiev brings bad memories, association, emotions etc., but this post has nothing to do with politic and all that crap what is going on in Ukraine!

For me it is kind of second home,even though I have been there only couple of times.

Here We Go Again..

In past few years, since we moved to Germany, every holidays we are going back home. I can't tell how many times we have made this trip, but it is cool, exciting and very exhausting trip.

Colmar [Photo Diary]

The weather is sooo freaking hot, so I don't even want to move because I am already sweating (probably you don't want to know that, but I know many feel the same). So I decided to check my computer and do some sorting and cleaning and I realized that I still have some photos that I haven't posted from our trip to Colmar in France few week ago (looks like that lately France is our no.1 travel destination).

It is nice city, there are a lot to see, but it was so crowded, that I couldn't do proper shots of top sight. Well, there still are some for little sneak peak :)

Parc Zoologique & Botanique de Mulhouse [Photo Diary]

Weather last few days is suuuper HOT, but that did not stopped us from going for another little trip. This time our destination was zoo and botanical park in Mulhouse (France). 

Really awesome place, we spend there around 3 hours but still did not see everything because of the heat it became very exhausting. 

Kintzheim - Funny Monkeys and Historical Castle [Photo Diary]

Last weekend we went to visit funny, little monkeys in La Montagne des Singes in France. Well, to be precise, these monkeys are Barbary macaques and they are pretty big. The most interesting thing about this place is that macaques are not in cages, so you walk by them and also you can feed them (only with popcorn that is given at the park entrance).

Outfit Of The Day - Traveling

Today we are going for another little trip, this time to France. As our destination is off the town, my number one rule is to wear comfy shoes and clothes. What can be worse than to climb the hill and walk the forest trail on heels? :D

Exploring Oppenau: Waterfalls & Monastery Ruins [Photo Diary]

Last week we were visiting beautiful location Allerheiligen in Oppenau, Germany. 

Basically it is around 4 km long trail, walking through which you will see the fabled All Saints Waterfalls, the monastery ruins, the war memorial and other fantastic views. Highest point of the trail is at 708m height. 

Overall it takes about 2 hours to walk through whole trail.

Porsche & Mercedes-Benz Museums [Photo Diary]

Who said girls don't like cars?

Last weekend me with friends went to Mercedes-Benz and Porsche museums. From these two museums we liked more Mercedes, because it is bigger and more informative, but overall we had a lot of positive emotions from both. So if you are planning to go to Stuttgart, I recommend visiting these museums.

Last Friday in Strasbourg (France) started Christmas Markets that will keep on going until end of December. 

On Saturday I had this opportunity to go there and see it live. Everything is incredibly beautiful and festive.
